We’re delighted that the good folks who made our very first dilator set have re-released them under their sister company Fuze, which is based here in Ontario! Fuze Step dilators feature everything we’re looking for in a high-quality dilator, thanks to their dedication, hard work, and clinical trial at Queens University. Step dilators are flexible, and will bend with your body, while still holding their shape. They are made with a tapered tip, for easy insertion into the body. These dilators are machine made in the USA with medical grade silicone.
These dilators are designed to assist folks experiencing vaginal pain, recovering from surgery, or as an aide for Kegel exercises. For added muscle relaxation (or stimulation!), this dilator has a hole in the base to accommodate a one-touch vibrator (sold separately).
I have vaginal atrophy, partly because I had oestrogen-positive beast cancer, and am getting older. I ordered the step 1,2,3 and 4 Fuze+ dilators and Hathor Original water-based lubricant. Discovered I had no need for dilators 1,2, and 3, but that’s OK. Because I’d had nothing in my vagina for many years and who knew what was going to happen. First time trying #4 met with resistance and mild pain. So, a bit of insertion. Waited a day, got myself really comfy by wrapping me and my dilator in a soft heating blanket, putting on my fave relaxing music, and doing Kegels as recommended by you. My 4 cats sleeping peacefully around the bed. And this time, bit by bit, using kegels and plenty of Hathor lubricant - contracting 2 seconds, relaxing 4 seconds or more, in went #4, all the way. I left it in for the duration of my fave song - 17 minutes? Really setting my comfort zone and doing whatever it took, psychologically, like trying not to feel failure, did the trick so easily! #4 is now my best friend. I love that the Hathor has no odour at all. At the same time, I began using a local estriol vaginal cream prescribed by my dr. Studies have shown that mild estrogens applied locally do not circulate through the body and zero evidence they cause breast cancer to return. My dr. checked it out thoroughly. I'm now ready to order the next size or two up. I’ll also do kegels without the Fuze whenever I feel like it throughout the day. Thank you so much for sending all the leaflets, would have been lost without your expert advice. I used to visit your lovely store on Queen St. when I lived around the corner. Ps I’m 75, dating a healthy, vibrant 60 year old man.
I'm 59 years old and experiencing painful intercourse at the rear of my vagina. y gynecologist recommended dilators and these feel really good. I started with 2 , 3, 4 now and now I'm going to purchase #5. She also recommended a vibrator which fits nicely into the #4 and #5 dilator . Although they are a bit hard to get out , so you need to work at and squeeze to get out.

My boyfriend and I had tried to have sex thrice, but he could barely penetrate me because my vagina wasn't able to handle his girth. Seeing him get frustrated, I decided to take matters into my own hands and try out this dilator. It took some getting used to because I started out with this size, but I hope to progressively move up to sizes 5 and 6. Once I know I can accommodate those sizes, I will hopefully feel more confident about having sex with my boyfriend. Also, I love that it's silicone!
I have suffered with pelvic pain all my adult life. Now that I have had my first child a lot of the mental block is removed and I have been able to try dilators. I started with #1, was able to jump to #3 and am now going to try #4. The silicone dilators are much easier to use then the hard plastic ones often recommended.
